Building membrane for insulated roof and wall structures
Diffusion-resistant building membrane
For insulated roof and wall structures, diffusion-resistant building membrane plays an important role. Its task is to prevent warm indoor fumes from reaching the insulation and the colder sheet facade, where it would condense and create moisture problems.
Diffusion-resistant building membrane also protects against unwanted moisture entering the building.
Borga’s diffusion-resistant building membrane is:
- Extremely light
- Fast and simple to install

Reinforced foil/condensation protection
Borga’s reinforced foil is a fabric made of HD polyethylene that has been laminated on one side with LD polyethylene. The foil has a composite structure to cope with high demands for water-tightness during construction.
The reinforced foil is also approved as a safety membrane (stepping through protection), and provides good protection for scaffolding against bad weather. It also improves safety and prevents moisture problems in exposed wall structures.
